The library is much more than a place to check out books. We have programs and services for everyone in our community.

Learning Express Online Learning

Learning Express Library is an online practice test center. There are online courses and e-books to help you prepare for and do better on standardized tests. The practice tests are scored instantly and will show you what to work on next. This not only includes high school and college prep exams, but post-college, workplace, and citizenship exams as well. It’s more than just test prep, however. There are also courses on computer basics, popular software tools like the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe products.

At the Sheldon Public Library our staff will try and answer any question you might have. Whether it is for homework, hobby, work, to settle a bet or just because you want answer our trained staff will try and assist you.

Book Clubs

7 to 8 Book Club or The Hour of the Book
The clubs meets once a month January - November, on the third Monday of the month at 7:00 P.M. [ 7 to 8 Book Club ] or the Tuesday following the 7 to 8 Book Club at 1:30 P.M. [The Hour of the Book].
